Family history shows my granddad on my Paternal side resided at number 46 King street in 1901 where he was an errand boy and may have been there when this photo was taken.
My grand father Arthur C Taplin lived at number 46, in 1901 with his father James Taplin and mother Mary Taplin. Arthur was 14 in 1901 and was an Errand Boy
I remember when as an under 5 yrs going to visit my paternal grandmother Mrs Avis house no. ? in King Street with my father. This photo brings back such memories 1930,s
My Great Grandfather John Shields lived at No.33 and his father William, but not sure which house this is in the picture. I think my Grandmother Edith Hilda Shields was born there. I have been trying to find more information about William.
