Originally built in Victorian times as a chapel (hence the stained glass windows), the dining hall shown here was replaced by a new purpose-built dining hall underneath the main Hall as part of the building and extension work in 1957.
So, during my time as a pupil at the school (1959-1966) this had in fact become the School Library,
