Between the car and the van will be seen an opening. As a schoolboy in the 1940s it was known as the bogey hole, to the right was Clarke’s greengrocers, with the Binswood tavern on the corner and a dairy just before it. The motor cycle is outside the bakery(corner of Trinity Street). The shop No.16 went into for collectors items such as cigarette cards, blown birds eggs, stamps, and marbles.
