Sir Walter Scott stayed here when writing his novel "Kenilworth" and his room at the time of this photograph contained all the original furniture.

We used to drive past 30 years ago on our way home to Leamington Spa and at that time the Bar was called Drummond. We moved to Stoneleigh and have watched the Hotel be separated into different businesses; Zizzi, Ego and She (now Pomeroys). As a result of COVID-19 there will inevitably be further change.
