The Henley-in-Arden Ice Cream Parlour

When I was a student at Birmingham University studying chemistry, we used to cycle from Edgbaston to the Henley-in-Arden ice cream parlour. This was on a Sunday morning before our lunch.
The location
It was just a hatch in the wall between what is now the Bluebell pub and the Three Tuns pub. We thought the ice cream was fantastic and well worth the ride, we did this several times during our three years at university between 1956-1959.
Comments
I lived opposite Henley Ice Cream at that time and there were cycles piled up against our wall on a Sunday. It was Tudor Dairies with the factory behind. I went to the school next door. No hatch but a fairly large half timbered building. No idea what the place between the pubs on the opposite side of the road that you mention was. Possibly the soap tasting Midland Dairies bricks stuck in a cone or between wafers.
