Comments
The post office later moved to the white building in the distance. On a small alley way to the right of the church. The other shop in the village was a small green corragated hut located further up the road past the church. This was owned by Mr Garrett and usually staffed by his daughter Ruth. They were strict Plymouth Bretheren. This meant the shop didn’t open at the weekend or sell alcahol or cigarettes. They were good neighbours as we had the adjoining house.
