Sunrising House was owned by Lord Bearsted who then bought and moved to Upton House.
My grandfather Albert Joseph Eden was working at Sunrising house stables as a groom in 1921 when he was 17. It was while working there that he met his future wife,my granny Maud Mary Butler, who was working as a housemaid for the wealthy Garrard family at the nearby Harbury Leys at Tysoe. They were married in January 1928 and went on to have 8 children.
