The photograph depicts Henry Morgan (1846-1935) and wife,Elizabeth Sims (1852-1921), with daughter, Ethel Martha Morgan (1879-1941) and son,Percy Ambrose Morgan (1883-1982).

Henry’s parents were Joseph Morgan (1807-1885) and Sarah Major (1813-1885). Joseph Morgan’s parents were John Morgan (1775-1847) and Alice (1780-1850).

All were born in Bishops Itchington and all, except Percy Ambrose, are buried in Bishops Itchington.

    My father told me that,his grandfather, Henry Morgan, worked as a foreman in the local cement works.He also ran the local chapel and was on the Parish Council.
