Notes about this historic site
1 Possible site of Kimberley chantry chapel, Kingsbury.
In an old chapel dedicated to St Edmund (possibly connected with the minster church of Kingsbury), the chantry of Kimberley was founded, possibly by John Bracebridge. It was John Bracebridge who presented a chantry priest in 1311.
Between 1476 and 1479, the chantry was transferred to the chapel of Hurley, and then became known as the chantry of Hurley.
