Historic inn recorded on Pigot’s database which shows it in existence in 1828.
Situated on the south east side of Henley street in the medieval part of the town.
2 Later became the Coach and Horses inn. Recorded on F White & Co.’s database showing it was the Coach and Horses by 1874.
3 4th ed. OS map shows building still in use as public house in 1938.
