Notes about this historic site
1 A hoard of fifty one Roman coins brought in to the Museum, of which twenty two could be identified. This find appears to represent a savings hoard, now very degraded, which was deposited in the second half of the 4th century. The hoard was found by metal detectorists in July 1995.
