A Roman pit was excavated and various finds were recovered from this feature and the surrounding area. Finds included Roman coins, and pottery. Paths, possibly of Roman date were also found at this site, on the east side of Birch Abbey, Alcester.
A series of features were identified during evaluation off Church Lane, Middleton. They suggest settlement in the 12th-13th centuries, away from the focus of the original settlement.
Evidence for a Neolithic settlement, including pits and postholes, was uncovered during an excavation. The site is 100m south west of the church at Wasperton.
