The possible site of a brick kiln dating to the Imperial period and known from place name evidence. It is situated 300m east of Rough Hill Wood.

Notes about this historic site
1 Site of a brick kiln suggested by Brick Kiln Close field name in 1849 Tithe Map (WRO CR 569/235).
2 Further research was conducted into this site by John Brace, as original NGR was proved incorrect. The site has now been relocated on the Studley Tithe map, named on a Schedule of 1849. Now mostly buried under modern road works. Four other brickyards were found in the tithe schedule.
