Notes about this historic site
1 A well, traditionally associated with Guy of Warwick.
2 A spring head at the base of a cliff enclosed in a fairly modern arched recess of ashlar sandstone.
3 Circa 1751-7 grotto. Of ancient origin. Semicircular arch with armorial shield. Late gates at entrance to the artesian spring.
