Notes about this historic site
1 Four sherds of one rim of ‘Legionary Ware’.
2 Excavation investigated spreads of Roman pottery which had been discovered in arable land threatened by motorway construction. Extensive trial trenching produced evidence for charcoal burning (PRN 6143).
