Notes about this historic site
1 Neolithic axe from Larkstoke found 1903 among a heap of stones gathered from a field surface. It is of igneous rock – possibly greenstone, 12 cm by 8.2 cm by 2.5 cm thick.
2 Axe (7/c, ?Group 1). Found on high ground beyond Meon Hill at Larkstoke. SP1943 or SP1843. Now in Stratford Museum.
