Church of St Leonard, Ryton on Dunsmore
The Church of St Leonard which was originally built during the Medieval period. Alterations were made to the church during the Post Medieval and Imperial periods. It is situated in Ryton on Dunsmore.
1 Chancel, nave, W tower, vestry, and a S porch. Built of red sandstone rubble with worked dressings in the late 11th century, probably consisting of chancel and nave. W tower probably 15th century. Vestry with gallery over, of red brick, added in 1812. More recent S porch. The E wall of the chancel has been entirely rebuilt. Modern chancel arch.
