Have you heard of Museums at Night? Well it’s a twice yearly festival, where Brighton-based arts charity Culture24 invites all UK museums, galleries, libraries and heritage sites to throw open their doors after hours to showcase their treasures in unexpected ways. Market Hall Museum has, of course, taken part in this in previous years, and will do so again this time around.

Visit us

So to celebrate the festival, your museum is throwing open its doors on the evening of Friday 18th May from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. This is a chance to see Market Hall in a new light (pardon the pun) and will allow you to enjoy a relaxed evening with friends. What more can you need to explore the museum after dark than a glow stick! Let’s not forget that if you fancy a break from exploring, you can relax with a drink in the bar/café, while there’s also a chance to try an exclusive digital escape game created by Birmingham Open Media and Warwickshire College students

Come along

Anyway, how much is being charged for this extravaganza? Nothing, that’s what, although we would be grateful if you brought ID for the bar… and a donation would, of course, be very welcome if you appreciate what we do! We’d also be grateful if you could book your tickets so we know you’re coming, do please visit this link to book, or call 01926 412500.

So, want to take part as a light is shone on Britain’s sparkling culture and heritage? Now’s your chance.
