The property to the right of Earls was where my father’s company, Country Vision Ltd had his workshop to carry out repairs to televisions and electrical appliances. His shop was further down the High Street beside the Post Office. I spent some of my school holidays repairing irons and kettles in the workshop. In the photograph you can see the sign ‘Country Vision Ltd’ .
