These houses were not built until 1953 so this photo (and others in the series) must date from the 1950s. I have a copy of a letter from the Council dated 25th February 1953 offering a “tenancy of No. 1, New Estate, Stretton-on-Dunsmore, now in course of erection…” The rent was to be 18/9d a week!
