Here we are again
My mum Lily Chilton was as far as i know the last person born in Michael Drayton cottage on the green at Hartshill
She was born in January 1932 and it was really very exciting to see what the cottage looked like
Have been to see the memorial there when I come back to visit

Are you able to describe the cottage where you mum was born? Was it important to your mum that her family lived in a cottage that had belonged to the family of a famous poet?
