Marton Museum of Country Bygones

The Museum was established by a Marton resident, George Tims, in the 1960s and had a number of homes until it was established in its present permanent home. It is an idiosyncratic collection of items reflecting Warwickshire rural life from the past 200 years. George had suffered ill health for the last ten years of his life, and the museum has only been recently opened again after many years with its future under threat. It is now in the care of a group of volunteers from the village under the administration of the museum trustees.
