Twycross is in Leicestershire, north of Atherstone. The church of St. James houses the oldest stained glass in England, that originally came from Sainte-Chapelle, Saint-Denis, and Le Mans Cathedral. In recent years Twycross has been synonymous with its zoo, known for its collection of monkeys and apes.
