Lower and Upper Quinton incorporate the parish of Quinton, six miles south of Stratford. In the Domesday Book, both Lower and Upper Quinton were listed as being in Gloucestershire. Lower Quinton saw Charles Walton, an alleged witch, murdered on Meon Hill in 1945.
