Binley Woods

Binley Woods is a relatively modern village, and people started to settle in the area in the 1920s, as land from the Coombe Abbey estate was sold off. The Second World War also saw people living in Binley Woods after the bombing of Coventry, often in caravans. The name Binley Woods was adopted in the 1950s to distinguish the village from neighbouring Binley.
