Barton-on-the-Heath lies at the southernmost tip of Warwickshire, to the west of Long Compton. It is one of few Warwickshire parishes that are part of the Cotswolds 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The local church, dedicated to St Lawrence, dates back to the 12th century.
