The lady on the left of this group is my late mother in law Freda Jessica Buggins (nee Hancocks) who was known as Jessie. She was born in Long Itchington in 1918 and worked at the New Inn until her marriage in 1939. The other people are thought to be the licensee, his wife, and his daughter. We have a copy of this print on a post card. The date of the photograph is mid- 1930’s not 1920’s. The car appears to be an Austin 10 from about 1935. Another photograph in this sequence shows the same four people in the garden of the pub – this is correctly dated as 1930’s.
