The site of a shrunken village of Post Medieval date at Wolston. The remains are visible as earthworks. The site is located off Main Street.

1 A map shows buildings at the above grid reference.
2 This main area is now under grass. The road, now known as Main Street, divides into two at this point and the left hand fork is now only a track, but at the time of the map it was of equal importance. The area between the two roads today shows extensive evidence of former settlement – possible house platforms, an uneven surface and many thistles.
