Nuneaton suffered during WWII like many other towns and cities. This short film was filmed at Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre on 20th June 2015 with John and Doroth Veasey who recalls the bombing in Nuneaton May 1941.

My mother went into labour on the night of May 17th 1941. My father took her to Nuneaton hospital that night. They were told to go home as the hospital was bombed. I was born in the morning of May 18th at the Hit or Miss pub in the centre of Bedworth. My father was the landlord.The pub was demolished many years ago.
